TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
